Christine in the Cutting Room is a multimedia project by Susan Stryker centered on the life and career of Christine Jorgensen. Across films, lectures, and performances, the project explores the relationship between cinema, trans embodiment, and technology, drawing on Jorgensen’s own background as a photographer and filmmaker and her involvement in making her public image.
